Open the App: Click here to open the Digital Bladder Diary
Important Privacy Note: This diary never asks you to create an account, log in, or provide your name or email. Your entries are linked to a randomly generated anonymous code stored in your browser, and saved under that code in a secure, encrypted database hosted in Australia — nothing that could identify you is ever recorded. At the very end, when you export your report, you can choose to type your name and date of birth so your clinic knows the report is yours. Those details are only printed on the exported report itself and nothing more — they are never saved by the app. All diary data is automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days. To see or edit your diary you must return on the same device and browser — please use your own private personal device, so only you can view your logged data.
You will be able to print your digital diary and email it to us at info@continencematters.com
BLADDER DIARY: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I log my fluids (Intake) and urination (Output)?
- This 3-day bladder diary makes it easy to track your bladder health.
- To log drinks (Intake): Go to the Log tab, tap Intake, choose your beverage type (Water, Tea/Coffee, Alcohol, Soda/Other), select the approximate volume in millilitres (ml), and tap Add Intake Entry.
- To log urination (Output): Tap Voided Output, select or enter the volume in millilitres (ml), note any urgency level or leakage details if applicable, and tap Add Voided Entry.
- Bed/Wake times: Scroll to the bottom of the Log page to update your bedtime and wake-up times for each day. This is critical for measuring your night-time voiding patterns.
How should I measure my urination (voided volume)?
- Please void into a simple plastic measuring container (graduated in millilitres) to read your output. For ease of logging, you can round your measurement to the nearest 10ml, then discard the urine.
How do I log different days?
- At the top of the Log tab, you will see buttons for Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3. Tap the day you are currently recording to ensure your entries are logged under the correct 24-hour period.
Is my personal data safe and private?
Yes. The app never requires your name, email, date of birth, or any other identifying details, so nothing in the diary can identify you. (The optional name and date of birth you can add when exporting your report are printed on the report only — never saved.) Your entries are stored under a random anonymous code in a secure, encrypted database hosted in Australia, and are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days — please print or export your report before then. Continence Matters never views, uses, or shares your entries, and no advertising companies have access to them.
Why can't I see my data on another device or browser?
Because we do not collect usernames or passwords, your diary entries are tied directly to your specific device and browser session. To view or edit your data, you must use the exact same device and browser (and avoid using private/incognito tabs). For security, please use your private personal device, as anyone with physical access to your device could view your logs.
How do I send my completed diary to my clinician?
When you have finished logging all 3 days, go to the Share tab:
Type your full name and date of birth into the optional fields — these are printed on your report so your clinic knows it is yours. They are never saved by the app.
Tap Print / Save as PDF to save your report to your device.
Tap Email Report, attach the saved PDF, and send. If you left your name blank, type your name and date of birth into the email body instead.
For Dr Pillay's clinic, email your report to info@continencematters.com
What if my clinician only wants me to track urination (not my drinks)?
- You can toggle the diary mode easily. On the Log tab, look for the Diary Track Option section. Select Output Only (Urination) to hide all fluid intake fields. This makes logging much faster, and automatically adjusts your stats and exported PDF reports to display only voiding data.
